Here she is….Jaymie in a box! Isn’t she the sweetest baby (oops, I mean toddler) you had ever seen?

I keep calling her my baby. She is a toddler now and she looks more like a little girl each day. No matter what, she will always be my baby, even when she is my age.

We went school shopping this past Sunday and out of all the things she wants to play with is a shoe box. Well, last night when I got home from work this is what I saw in my dining room. Yep! That’s my little Jaymie sitting inside of a shoe box. She is such a funny little girl.

I guess we are going to have to start investing in boxes instead of toys….lol.

Whoever said Monday was a great start to a new week….well, they were wrong.

I really do not like Monday’s. I have to wait a full week to get a day off and the day just drags. Is anyone with me on this?

I have to have about 5 cups of coffee to wake up and that still doesn’t do it for me. I get to work and I just cannot wait to go home. I know I sound pretty bad, but after having a weekend off and spending so much time with my family, I would love it if I can stay home. Just to be with the kids all day. I totally miss out on a lot of things that Jaymie does. I miss out watching my son play baseball and basketball and my daughter playing softball.  I also miss out on any time that Garry and I have together. By the time I get home, I go straight to bed. It gets pretty old after a while, KWIM?

Anyways, Happy Monday folks!! Have a great workweek!!!

I am so glad the weekend is here. I don’t get a chance to post a lot during the week because of my work schedule.

Today is going to be a busy day. We are taking my son to his dodge ball game at 10 am until 2 pm. Then we get to relax for a bit. This evening is my company picnic. It’s going to be so much fun, well for me it is..lol. To my husband it’s torture. He doesn’t like crowds and socializing. Hard to tell that with all the blogging he does…lol.

I think he will enjoy himself. He has a lot in common with a lot of my co-workers. He is an Optician and he’s been in optics his whole life. There will also be fellow computer geeks there….lol. Maybe that will ease his mind. I am surprised that he didn’t ask me if he could bring the laptop with….That wouldn’t be a first. He takes that thing almost everywhere.

 Sunday…good ole’ Sunday. School shopping day!! Tax-free weekend….Another dreaded day for Garry…He HATES shopping! Well, too bad sweetie…you are tagging along!

I know he will be so glad when the weekend is over and life, as we know it, gets back to normal on Monday.
