In Honor of Father’s Day
In honor of Father’s Day, I would like to say thank you to all the fathers around the world that have made a huge impact on their children’s lives…..Hearing your child say “dada” for the first time just melts your heart. I know mine melted when Jaymie said “mama” for the first time. It was the greatest moment ever. Being a dad is such a special reminder that you are looked up to and that you are a role model. Dads are also fun to play pranks on and play ball with or even for a big ole’ hug. Tomorrow is Father’s Day and please take the time to call your dad and remind him that you love him and tell him thanks! If your father has passed on to be with the Lord, my condolences go out to you and your family. I will say a prayer for ALL the father’s tomorrow that they will be blessed throughout their whole life! Here is a little Father’s Day poem I would like to share:
FATHERHOOD
Being a Father is more than biological.
It is found in the heart of only the most selfless.Being a Father is to be a hero in a child’s eyes
just for fixing a toy.Being a Father is to be a child in your own certain ways,
and teaching your children to laugh and play.Being a Father means caring more for the child Than for yourself.
Being a Father is to willingly sacrifice
and to never question why.Being a Father is to feel love,
a love unconditional.Being a Father is not as special as being a Daddy!
