A Job Interview Today…A New Job Tomorrow

I have been at the same job for almost 4 years now. I was not even thinking of finding another job, unless something came up close to where I live. Well, I received this phone call this past Tuesday from a major wholesale lab saying that they found my resume online and wanted to offer me a job.

Well, I have my interview this morning and I am nervous. I don’t know if I am going to take it. I am very comfortable at my current job and a little scared of change. If it turns out to be more pay, better hours, better benefits…then maybe I will just have to take it. So, wish me luck on the interview and pray that I don’t get lost….LOL

  1. Well, here is the verdict. They offered me the job and I will give them my answer on Monday. Of course, I am accepting it. Why shouldn’t I? It pays more, the hours are great and I have a set schedule. Plus it’s a major company with room for advancement. At the place I work now, I already have made it to the highest position I can get to. With this new job, I will be making more and working less hours than I did as a Lab Manager. This is going to be a great career move and it will better my family. Plus, I will get to spend more time with my children each night.

I will update on this post on how my first day went. My first day is June 11th. I give my letter of resignation tomorrow, May 21st. That will be nerve-racking because they do not even know I was even thinking about leaving. Unless they can match me what the other company is giving me, then I will stay. I highly doubt it.

    Until next time….

    Best Regards,
    Angie
